9 Things Women Should Never Feel Ashamed of Today

Everyone knows someone who says, “I have a job, kids, and a clean house. Why can’t you?” At times, it can feel unfair and annoying. Things are not the same for everyone, and that’s fine.

No one can say what other people should do with their lives. One woman doesn’t have to make time for housework or trips to the salon for everyone else to do the same. There is no race in life; you just have to find the right balance for you.

A lot of women still feel like they have to justify their choices, even if those choices are perfectly fine. You may want to focus on your mental health or put yourself first in your own unique way. That’s not only fine, it’s good for you.

Let’s not compare ourselves to others; instead, let’s work together to make our community stronger. That’s the great thing about life: what works for one woman might not work for another. Each of us goes through hard times, so there is no one right way to live.

When someone whines about how busy they are, remember that your road is yours. Pick the things that make you happy and at peace. That’s the important thing.

Facial hair

Did you know that women usually have dark hair on about 30% of their skin? Even though most of the time it’s not that obvious, a lot of women still choose to get rid of it because they think it makes them look less attractive.

Eva Mendes, an actor, has said in public that she shaves her face. She says it makes her face feel better and makes her feel better about herself.

Some people might find the idea of shaving strange. But for some, it’s just part of taking care of their face and looking good. In reality, getting rid of body hair is a choice that only you can make. Not having it makes some women feel more beautiful. Some people look just as beautiful with it.

For sure, both are true.

We shouldn’t judge people based on how they choose to use their bodies. Some people may not be able to use something that works for someone else. Feel good about your body, love yourself, and do what makes you happy.

There is more than one way to define beauty, and we don’t have to stick to narrow ideas of what’s “acceptable.” Let’s make a world where people can do what they want without fear of being judged or shamed.

Because confidence comes from inside, not from what other people think.

Double chin

Having a double chin doesn’t always mean someone is fat. It can be caused by your genes, getting older, or the way your body stores fat naturally. There are lots of reasons why our bodies change, and that’s fine!

Few famous people are ashamed of having double chins. They show them off with pride and tell us not to hide anything. How you feel about yourself is the most important thing.

Being confident comes from loving the way you look the way you are. Your double chin, wrinkles, and smile lines are all things that make you special. Let’s not try to be “perfect,” but instead enjoy the beauty that comes from within.

Stretch marks after pregnancy

After giving birth, don’t see stretch marks as flaws. Instead, see them as signs of love, power, and motherhood. To bring life into the world, your body went through a lot. That’s something to be proud of.

It’s okay to have stretch lines and loose skin, even famous moms like Kate Middleton and Sarah Lahbati say so. A lot of women now post photos online that haven’t been edited to show that these changes aren’t something to be embarrassed about.

Now let’s talk about real things instead of “perfect skin.” Feel good about your stretch marks; they tell a story.

Attitude towards makeup

Some stars, like Pamela Anderson, don’t wear any makeup to big events like the Oscars. Kim Kardashian is one of those people who love a full glam look. Either choice is great!

You can show who you are with makeup, but it’s also okay to not wear it. If you want to feel good about yourself, it doesn’t matter if you like lipstick or just want to go natural.

Let’s respect how each person chooses to look. There’s no right or wrong. Being at ease, sure of yourself, and true to yourself is what makes you beautiful.

Postacne and freckles

No longer is flawless skin the only thing that makes someone beautiful. Real skin has a feel, changes often, and has a story to tell. All of these things are normal: wrinkles, acne scars, and breakouts.

The skin of even Hollywood stars like Dakota Fanning changes or gets pimples all of a sudden. It’s okay that no one is perfect!

We might think that everyone on social media has flawless skin all the time because of filters and picture editing, but that’s not really the case. Stress, hormones, food, and the weather can all change how our skin looks and feels. We all have days when our skin looks great and days when it doesn’t.

Let’s not try to get “perfect skin.” Instead, let’s work on getting good skin. Your spots are beautiful on their own, and your acne scars don’t make you less valuable.

Small belly during pregnancy

“Your belly is too small for how far along you are!” is something that people have said. That might make you feel bad, but the truth is that every pregnancy is different.

Beautiful people with baby bumps, like Kourtney Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski, have shown that they come in all shapes and sizes. There are women who show early and women who stay small well into the second trimester. Both are perfectly fine!

It doesn’t matter how big your bump is if your doctor says everything is fine. The most important thing is that mom and kid are healthy.

Let’s stop contrasting and start helping each other. You should not judge someone based on how their belly looks while they are pregnant.

Toe hair

Yes, that hair on your toes is real and fine. There are people who shave it and people who don’t mind at all. It’s up to each person what kind of body hair they want.

Someone told a well-known writer to shave her toes in a rude comment one time. What did she say? She shared a picture of her feet with the word “No” written on them with pride. That’s having confidence in your body!

Simple message: Don’t let other people decide how you feel about your body. It’s your body and your rules whether you shave, wax, or let it grow.

Breast size

People judge some women for having small breasts and others for having big ones. It doesn’t help anyone to shame people for their bodies, though.

People have paid close attention to actresses like Salma Hayek, Keira Knightley, and Natalie Portman because of the size of their breasts. It’s clear that people of all sizes are judged, whether they were made fun of as teens or had their bodies changed without their permission.

It’s pointless to try to please other people. The most important thing is how you feel about your body.

Large Foot Size

There’s nothing wrong with having big feet—in fact, you should be proud of them! Heidi Klum, the supermodel, wears a size 11 shoe and is happy to have more than 2,000 pairs. She wants to teach them to her girls too. That’s really cool.

You’re still stylish, feminine, and sure of yourself even if you have big feet. This is one of the many beautiful ways our bodies are different.

It’s not just about foot size; let’s also talk about things like Venus rings on the neck, arm folds, and hip dips. People often judge these normal parts of the body wrong. But why should we hide what makes us human?
